Caution: Not Every Swinger Event or Party Is the Same
One thing we think new swingers should understand is that swinger group events and swinger house parties can be far more specialized than traditional swinger clubs or resorts.
At most swinger clubs and resorts, you’ll find a mix of different interests and activities. A resort might have a BDSM dungeon, for example, but it’s usually just one small area of a much larger venue. If BDSM isn’t your thing, you can simply spend your time at the pool, bar, nightclub, restaurant, playrooms, or social areas and never think twice about it.

We have never attended an event where anyone was pressured into participating in activities they didn’t want to do. Our advice is simple: read event descriptions carefully and make sure the event matches your interests and comfort level.

Splash Takeovers specializes in large-scale BBC-themed hotel and resort takeovers that attract swingers from across Florida and around the country. While they host events nationwide, Florida remains one of their most active markets, with regular events taking place in several major metro areas throughout the year.
We have attended Splash events and found them to be extremely well organized, highly social, and packed with attractive, lifestyle-minded people. The organizers do an excellent job of creating an upscale atmosphere while still maintaining a fun and sexually charged environment. These events attract a crowd that is there to socialize, party, and fully embrace the lifestyle experience.
If you enjoy BBC-themed swinger events, Splash Takeovers is one of the best-known names in Florida and offers some of the largest and most professionally organized events we have encountered. For many swingers, these are true destination events rather than simple local gatherings.
The primary downside is cost. Once you factor in event admission, hotel accommodations, travel expenses, and food, a full weekend can easily exceed $1,000 for a couple. That said, if this style of event appeals to you, we have found the overall experience to be well worth the investment.
Hotspot Parties

Hotspot Parties occupies a unique place in the Florida swinger scene. While it technically operates as a private lifestyle group rather than a traditional swinger club, the reality is that it functions much more like a permanent club than most Florida swinger groups.
Unlike hotel takeovers or rotating house parties, Hotspot hosts regular events at the same dedicated property in Pierson. That consistency has allowed them to build a loyal following and create an experience that feels familiar for returning guests while remaining welcoming to newcomers.
The venue itself is not the newest or most upscale property you’ll find in Florida. The building is showing its age in places, but we have always found it clean, well-maintained, and fully capable of delivering the kind of social and play environment most swingers are looking for.
Inside, guests will find social seating areas, a dance floor, pool table, buffet room, BDSM space, private playrooms, and several group play areas. The real highlight, however, is the outdoor space. The heated pool, hot tubs, and patio areas become some of the most active social spots on the property, particularly during Florida’s warmer months.
What keeps bringing people back, though, is the crowd. Every time we’ve attended, we’ve found the atmosphere friendly, approachable, and surprisingly active. Unlike some larger venues where people tend to stick to their own groups, Hotspot has always felt easy to navigate socially. Conversations happen naturally, and newcomers rarely seem out of place.
The biggest drawback is the location. Pierson is fairly remote, and nearby hotel options are limited compared to lifestyle venues in Orlando, Tampa, or South Florida. For many visitors, that means a longer drive before and after the event.
Still, if you’re looking for a laid-back swinger environment with an active crowd, strong social energy, and plenty of opportunities to meet people, Hotspot Parties remains one of the better recurring lifestyle events in Florida.
She Got Blacked!
