Outside of the Providence area, finding a good swinger club in New England can be surprisingly difficult.
Outside of a handful of Rhode Island clubs and parties, New England swingers simply don’t have the same number of options that swingers in Florida, Texas, or Southern California enjoy.
That’s one of the reasons we were excited when we first heard about Wicked Fun Club. We visited the club years ago at its original Terryville location and recently had the opportunity to visit again after the club reopened in Middletown, Connecticut.
Fortunately for Connecticut swingers, Wicked Fun Club is back and remains one of the better lifestyle venues in New England.
No, it isn’t the largest club we’ve ever visited. It doesn’t have massive crowds every weekend or the over-the-top amenities you’ll find at some of the larger lifestyle venues around the country. What it does have is a clean facility, a friendly crowd, approachable owners, a comfortable atmosphere, active play areas, and a group of swingers who genuinely seem interested in having fun and meeting new people.
We’ve had a good time every time we’ve visited Wicked Fun Club, both at the old location and the new one.

We find this location to be very clean and well-maintained. While it isn’t one of the largest swinger clubs we’ve visited, it has everything most swingers are looking for, including a large social lounge, multiple playrooms, an open play area, and a large group room that becomes one of the most active areas of the club as the night progresses.
The club is also BYOB, which helps keep costs reasonable and creates a relaxed atmosphere where people can socialize, flirt, and get to know one another without feeling rushed.
Like most swinger clubs, the evening typically starts out socially. People arrive, grab a drink, settle into the lounge area, and spend time talking with other couples and singles. As the night progresses, however, the focus gradually shifts from socializing to sexual activity.
Let’s be honest. While people certainly come to Wicked Fun Club to make friends and enjoy the lifestyle community, most attendees are there hoping to meet other like-minded swingers and explore sexual opportunities. This is an active on-premise swinger club, not simply a social meet-and-greet. As the evening moves along, the playrooms, group room, and open play areas become increasingly active.
If you attend Wicked Fun Club, you should fully expect to see nudity, couples having sex, group play, and other consensual sexual activities. In our experience, most people who attend eventually participate in some way, although participation is never required.
One thing we have always appreciated about Wicked Fun Club is that despite being an active swinger club, it maintains a very low-pressure atmosphere. Nobody is expected to participate in anything they don’t want to do, and people are generally respectful of boundaries and consent.
That makes it a comfortable place for experienced swingers while also being approachable for newer couples who may be attending a swinger club for the first time. If you’re curious about the lifestyle and simply want to observe, socialize, and see what a swinger club is like, that’s perfectly acceptable too. Wicked Fun Club has a story that most swinger clubs don’t. Its battle with local officials over the original Terryville location attracted attention from both local and national media outlets.
The club originally operated in Terryville, Connecticut, and eventually found itself at the center of a highly publicized legal battle with local officials. The town argued that the club violated zoning regulations because it was located next to a church and within an area where adult-oriented businesses were not permitted.
The owners argued that Wicked Fun Club was a private members-only social club and not an adult entertainment business.

We always found the situation frustrating. Wicked Fun Club was a private club for consenting adults, not some public nuisance. While local officials obviously saw things differently, we were happy to see the owners relocate and continue operating rather than simply disappear.
Fortunately, that wasn’t the end of the story.
The owners relocated, reopened in Middletown, and today Wicked Fun Club continues to host successful lifestyle events for Connecticut swingers and visitors from throughout New England.

Our Experience At Wicked Fun Club
The thing we noticed most about Wicked Fun Club wasn’t the facility.
It was the people.
The owners are almost always present and actively involved in making sure guests are having a good time. Every interaction we’ve had with them has been positive. They seem genuinely invested in creating an environment where people feel comfortable, welcomed, and respected.
That attitude carries over to the rest of the club.
The crowd here feels very similar to what you’ll find at many local swinger clubs across the country. Most attendees appear to be middle-aged couples, generally somewhere between their mid-thirties and early sixties. There are usually some younger swingers mixed in, a few older couples, and the occasional group visiting from outside the area.
Many attendees appeared to be professionals and established couples. The crowd tends to be attractive, well-spoken, and socially comfortable.
One thing worth mentioning is that Wicked Fun Club can initially feel a little cliquish.
At first glance, it may seem like everyone already knows each other. In reality, many of them do.
Because Connecticut doesn’t have a huge swinger club scene, a lot of the regular attendees have been seeing each other at parties, events, and clubs for years. Like many smaller local swinger communities, people naturally gravitate toward familiar faces.
What we found, however, was that people were incredibly welcoming once we introduced ourselves.
Nobody ignored us.
Nobody made us feel unwelcome.
In fact, most people seemed genuinely happy to see new faces and were more than willing to include us in conversations and much more later on.
The key is simply making that first move and saying hello.

Like most swinger clubs, Wicked Fun Club changes throughout the evening.
The first couple of hours are primarily social. People mingle, flirt, talk, and participate in whatever theme or activity may be happening that night.
By midnight, the club feels like a completely different place. The socializing gives way to active play, the group room fills up, couples move into the play spaces, and most people who came looking for sexual fun are finding it.
One thing we appreciated is the variety of play areas. Some are group spaces integrated directly into the main lounge area with very little separation from the social atmosphere, while others are private rooms with individual beds for couples who prefer a more intimate setting.
The large group room sits directly off the main lounge area, and several play spaces are easily visible from other parts of the club.
If you attend Wicked Fun Club, even if you don’t participate yourself, you are almost certainly going to see nudity and sexual activity as the evening unfolds.
For many swingers, that’s part of the appeal.
Our favorite area is probably the semi-open play space located near the main lounge. It offers a nice balance between privacy and exhibitionism. The sheer curtains provide some separation while still allowing couples to enjoy the voyeuristic atmosphere that many swingers find exciting.
We found it surprisingly easy to become involved in the sexual play at WFC. We weren’t longtime regulars, and we didn’t arrive with a built-in friend group. Simply spending time in the social and play areas led to conversations, invitations, and sexual opportunities developing naturally throughout the evening.

Wicked Fun Club isn’t trying to compete with massive lifestyle resorts or giant urban swinger clubs.
Instead, it focuses on providing the things most swingers actually want.
The club features a large social lounge, multiple playrooms, a spacious group room, open play areas, complimentary lockers, towels, mixers, bottled water, and plenty of parking.
The facility is clean, well-maintained, smoke-free, and designed around socializing and play rather than unnecessary distractions.
It’s not flashy.
It’s functional.
And honestly, that works very well for this type of club.
Membership, Pricing, And Events
Wicked Fun Club operates as a private members-only swinger club. Before attending, guests must create a profile and purchase either a membership or a day-pass option. Memberships are reasonably priced and available in monthly, multi-month, and annual options for couples, single women, and single men.
In addition to membership fees, guests pay an event admission fee. At the time of writing, couples can generally expect to pay around $80 per event, single women around $20, and single men around $100 for admission. Guests who choose not to purchase a membership can usually attend by purchasing a day pass for a slightly higher admission price.
One thing we like about Wicked Fun Club is that every event has its own theme. Depending on the weekend, you may find everything from lingerie parties and holiday-themed events to special lifestyle celebrations and other themed nights. Single men are welcome at select events, primarily on Friday nights, but the club takes its vetting process seriously. In our opinion, this is a good thing. One of the reasons the club maintains a comfortable atmosphere is that the owners make an effort to ensure the single men attending understand swinger etiquette and know how to interact respectfully within the lifestyle.
To become approved, single men generally need existing validations through SLS or SDC or recommendations from established club members. The goal is not to make attendance difficult but to ensure that everyone contributes to the respectful, low-pressure environment that the club is known for.

The exact address is provided after purchasing tickets, but the club is located in the Middletown area within a commercial office-style setting with ample parking.
We found the location easy to reach and easy to navigate.
One advantage of the new location is the availability of nearby hotels. Several hotel options are only a short drive or Uber ride away, making it easy for out-of-town visitors to enjoy the evening without worrying about the trip home afterward.
